The food was great and the vibes were pretty chill. I think the meat options are pretty good and the melona cocktail is great. Only small issue is that it was pretty hard to find our server. It was a little busy so i understand but when we got sat, we waited about 25-30 minutes just to put in our first order. Considering that this is an ayce place with a time limit, it’s definitely a bit frustrating but other than that it was great.

A Korean BBQ Experience Worth Trying I’ve been eyeing this spot for a while but could never pull myself away from El Gauchito. Since I was in the neighborhood, I finally decided it was time to give it a try. When I walked in, I was greeted by a lovely hostess with a warm smile who made me feel welcome. However, things took an odd turn when she called over the microphone for someone to seat me. A group of young servers stood there looking directly at her but didn’t respond. After she called several more times without anyone moving, I couldn’t help but wonder if there was a problem. I finally asked if everything was okay. She remained calm, smiled, assured me everything was fine, and even walked over to the group herself before escorting me to my table. Once I was seated, the experience really began. Each booth features its own built-in grill, giving you the full Korean BBQ experience. My server explained the menu, and for $38, I could choose three different meats that would be served continuously for 90 minutes, along with vegetables, an assortment of sauces, and pickled vegetables. menkhu was my server and made my 18th birthday amazing! it was our first time here and she made us had a little bit of everything while providing amazing service and great detail on what we needed, whether it was drinks, suggestions, or our meat cut she was on top of it! If you ever visit here ask for menkhu truly one of the best servers i’ve had in a long time! other than the server the meat and seafood was amazing! this is a great experience for friends and family and creates lots of memories and great conversation the meat was clearly fresh and had a bunch of flavor! the atmosphere is amazing too, it’s dark but enough light to take great photos and the music is 100% k-pop but it made the environment just more fun!

Seriously amazing kbbq. I've had kbbq in a lot of places in Flushing and Ktown and this is one of the top ones for sure. It's def better than a lot of places in Ktown. They don't have galbi which is disappointing but the beef brisket is so good. The bulgogi is also really good. Other places tend to be dried out after only cooking for a short time but this place keeps it moist and juicy. Their cuts of meat are definitely more fatty than other places so that helps a lot. I really can't believe I haven't been here sooner as we live in the area. We will definitely come back here and recommend it to others.

Nathan, our server, was absolutely amazing! He was attentive, listened carefully, and brought everything we needed in a jiffy. I honestly don’t know how he remembers orders without writing anything down — impressive! His service was truly stupendous and made our experience at Iron Age well worth it. He had to go on a 30-minute break, and during that time we were assigned another waitress. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t quite the same. Our fire went out for about 10 minutes before anyone noticed, and there was also another waiter who didn’t seem very welcoming. It slightly affected the experience. That said, we truly adored Nathan! He was bubbly, friendly, attentive, and genuinely joyful. I even told him how glad I was when he came back from his break. Give this man a raise — he absolutely deserves it! I hope everyone gets to experience his hospitality. Thank you, Nathan! 👏
